PRC 320

The UK/PRC (United Kingdom, Personal Radio Communicator) 320 is the main HF (High Frequency) radio used within the Cadet Forces and is relatively easy to use. Accompanying this radio you will have an ancillaries bag which will contain amongst other items:

Frequency Range
The UK/PRC-320 has a freq range of 2.0 to 29.9999 MHz in 100Hz steps, providing 280,000 possible channels for use.
Power Supply
The 320 can be powered by any of the following means:
- 24v 4AHC secondary battery, providing 12 hrs of operation on a 1:9 Tx/Rx ratio
- 24v 1AHC secondary battery with Hand Generator
- 2x 12v Signal batteries when adapted with a non-reversible polarised connector
Modes of Operation and Power Outputs
The UK/PRC-320 can operate using SSB (single side band), CW (continuous wave) and AM (amplitude modulation) modes. The output powers are given below:
