This High Powered VHF FM radio is primarily for use at command level and is basically the UK/PRC-351 with the addition of a 20 Watt RF amplifier (as can be seen by the cooling fins in the centre of the assembly). For a list of all ancillaries and power supplies please see the UK/PRC-351.

Range
Again with elevated antennas the range would be greatly improved however, the following act as guidelines to be expected with the use of the 1.2m antenna:

Note: Although the power is four times greater than the UK/PRC-351 the range is not increased by the same amount.
