NEWSLETTERS & NEWSSHEETS

Due to lack of content, cost of production and distribution, the traditional three newsletters which co-incided with the school terms has been dropped in favour of smaller, more concise, regular newssheets throughout the year.

The newssheets are produced at least three times a year and whenever there is important information to be distributed. Theses are produced by Maj M Vokes and sent out electronically through the signalling mailing list and also hard copies are sent through brigades.
A typical newssheet will contain information about:

• Upcoming events
• Competitions
• Equipment notes
• Courses

In addition to the newssheets, there are newsletters produced specifically for those active on the National Radio Network. It includes BATCO sheets, NIS and callsign information. Documents are sent electronically through the signalling mailing list and through post to nominated people in ACF Counties and CCF Contingents. These are produced periodically by the Senior Net Monitor every four to six months.
